to help those less fortunate than herself. After joining a elite
women’s club she dedicated herself to the groups various
charities as well as her own favorite causes.
She
provided food to the hungry and started to make quilts and pillows
for the residents of local homeless shelters.

THE
PATCHWORK PROGRAM
We provide warm homemade quilts and pillows to
shelter residents and nursing home participants. Ownership of
a work of art and the functional warmth the quilts give, plus
knowing that someone cared enough to make this can help to lift
the spirits of the residents. many who feel isolated and depressed.
BACK TO WORK WARDROBE PROGRAM
We were determined
to dress economically disadvantaged women in preparation for their
first job interview after leaving the shelter. We distribute clothing
to women’s shelters. We help to promote, confidence, when
going for interviews, pride in appearance and independence for
those who are trying to get their lives back on track.
NEW
TOOLS FOR SCHOOL PROGRAM
We provide fully equipped backpacks, with school supplies. Nearly
29% of children living in Los Angeles County are living in poverty.
Education may be a way for a child to break out of poverty. Every
year children go back to school without basis supplies. By providing
the right tools for learning, we hope to support social development,
and enhance academic achievement.
